Today, there are 17.6 million young people in the US who want, or need, a positive adult influence in their lives. But only a fraction of these children are currently engaged in legitimate mentoring relationships, due to limitations in capacity.
Furthermore, federal budget cuts and private program eliminations make it more difficult for the remaining children to connect with the over 44 million adults willing to become their mentors. It is programs like ours that can bring these kids together with qualified mentors. But we need your help to do it.
At this time we have over 40 mentors but unfortunately have a waiting list of children needing mentors. Whether you’re interested in donating your money or your time, your generosity will go a long way.
